Mayan Aztec "the lost city" Jungle Temple Ruins

I wanted to do an atmospheric piece where it was just raining and everything sparkles as light breaks through the trees. The story is that an adventurer wants to explore a lost hidden temple but strangely the torches are lit up so someone has been before him, so he could be in imminent danger or maybe the person before him has triggered the temple traps making it easier for him to enter and reach the treasures deep inside the temple.
